The story so far

The Infosys Aces and Milan Tennis Society emerged as clear frontrunners in the inaugural season of Beyond Tennis.

Milan captured back-to-back trophies in Tokyo and California, sandwiched between titles won by Infosys at the Australian Open and in Santorini.

Both teams progressed to the Championship final, where Infosys – represented by Australian Liam Jackson and India’s Anya Shah – prevailed in Milan.

Neither Jackson nor Shah topped the singles standings after the season’s first four events, but as a mixed doubles combination they proved deadly, winning 25 of 35 matches for the best winning percentage of any team in Season One.

What’s new in Season Two?

The same eight teams return for Season Two – yet you will notice changes to the playing rosters.

Chengdu Country Club has seen Filipina Maya Cruz replace Thandi Maboso to join Wei Liang, hoping to improve on the team’s 8th-placed finish in Season One.

With Cruz departing Tokyo Tennis Club, Egypt’s Malika Sabry has been recruited to replace her and join Japan's Hiroshi Sato.

For the United Tennis Collective, South African teenager Jesse Kleyn replaces Connor Hart and join British veteran Victoria Chambers in a fascinating partnership of youth and experience.
