“We are incredibly excited to have Aperol return as a Partner in 2024. Both tennis and the Aperol Spritz are synonymous with summer in Australia, making this the perfect partnership between two icons,” said Tennis Australia’s Chief Commercial Officer Cedric Cornelis.

“We can’t wait to see fans attending events across the Summer of Tennis sitting back and enjoying the world-class tennis while sipping a refreshing Aperol Spritz for years to come.”

Simon Durrant, Managing Director - Australia at Campari Group said, “Summer is officially served with Aperol making its much anticipated return to the Australian Open and major Australian tennis tournaments in 2024.

“At its core, Aperol is about embracing the Italian lifestyle of enjoying the company of friends and family over a lively drink. For Australians who love socialising over sport, what a better place to do this than at a premier sporting such as the Australian Open this summer.”

At the Australian Open, fans will be able to enjoy a slice of Italian culture and an Aperol Spritz at ‘Terrazza Aperol’ on Grand Slam Oval. Boasting a bespoke 15-metre-long bar, bean bags, lounges and an elevated cabana experience for drinking and dining, tennis fans can sit back with an Aperol Spritz and view of centre court broadcast live on the big screen.

It wouldn’t be Aperitivo hour without a bespoke antipasto box on offer, served along with a selection of drinks including the much-loved Aperol Spritz cocktail. Music and entertainment will ensure the summer vibes are served in between matches and set changes, making it the perfect spot this January.

Fans will also have the chance to sample an Aperol Spritz at a number of bars and restaurants across the Melbourne Park precinct, including the sleek new Bar Atrium with breathtaking views of the Melbourne city skyline.
