As anticipation rapidly builds for the 128th edition of Roland Garros, players have taken to social media upon their arrival and shared content to excite us even more.  

In our ‘Social Round-up’, we have compiled some of the best in the social-verse from players in Paris this week. 

Friends in high places

After teasing us with a hint on her Instagram story, three-time Roland Garros champion Iga Swiatek hit the practice court with former Friends star Courteney Cox. 

The world No.1 also sported a new On Running outfit as part of the event.

We meet again, old friend

The 2017 Roland Garros men’s singles finalists, Stan Wawrinka and Rafael Nadal, shared a practice session together for what is likely to be the final time.

Dancing towards another Grand Slam title? 

World No.2 Aryna Sabalenka continued her pre-slam ritual of dancing with her team on the practice court. 

She's bringing the vibes as she did to this year’s AO, and hoping she can replicate that success.

We all (except Andy Murray) scream for ice cream!

Judy Murray shared a wholesome moment in Paris with her two sons Andy and Jamie as they put the finishing touches on their Grand Slam preparation. 

However, 2016 men’s singles finalist Andy, is not sharing the same level of enthusiasm about the dessert as the other two.

Bonjour, BeReal!

Carlos Alcaraz and Grigor Dmittrov have arrived at Roland Garros and feature on the tournament’s official BeReal account after practice.

Taking in the sites en route to her final Roland Garros, Danielle Collins shared some stunning photos along the French Riviera.

Meanwhile, all eyes were on Jannik Sinner’s first practice on the famed terre battue.

Farewell to red-dirt legends

The music stopped all too soon for Dominic Thiem’s last Roland Garros dance, as the two-time finalist exited in the second round of qualifying.

And au revoir also to former semifinalist Diego Schwartzman, with a qualifying exit marking his last Roland Garros appearance.

There’s no play like home

Local hopeful Caroline Garcia is happy to be back in her country of origin and posted some happy snaps from around Paris.
