Australian Open 2027 will serve up its biggest food and beverage offering yet, with global burger favourite Shake Shack, celebrated chefs, exclusive menu items and fan-favourite treats transforming the AO into Australia's most exciting culinary destinations this January.
From breakfast through to the final night session, fans will be able to experience more than 100 food and beverage offerings across the precinct, including AO-exclusive dishes, international debuts and some of Australia's most sought-after restaurants.
Leading the lineup is the return of Shake Shack at TOPCOURT and John Cain Arena following its blockbuster Australian debut at AO 2026, serving up their signature ShackBurgers® and shakes. For the first time, fans will be able to secure a seat at a new bookable dine-in experience at TOPCOURT, the only place on site serving the iconic New York Steakhouse Burger alongside an AO-exclusive Dot Cake dessert.
A sweet Australian classic will take centre stage at AO 2027 with the Grand Slamington, a sponge cake rolled with raspberry jam and coconut that's destined to be a fan favourite.
Peach Melbourne returns for its fifth year after becoming one of the AO’s biggest success stories. More than 160,000 serves were devoured at AO 2026, and at AO 2027 fans can enjoy a range of new custom toppings at a dedicated activation at John Cain Arena and a new grab-and-go Peach Melbourne in a Cup roaming the AO Ballpark presented by Emirates.
The popular AO Frappe® Served Up by a2 Milk® is also back, ensuring fans can stay both cool and caffeinated during their day at the tennis.
"AO 2027 is our biggest and most exciting food program yet," Tennis Australia's Head of Product Growth and Innovation Fern Barrett said.
"We're bringing together globally recognised brands, some of Australia's most exciting chefs and restaurants, and a range of AO-exclusive dishes and experiences to create a food offering that's every bit as memorable as the tennis.
"Whether you're starting your day with coffee and breakfast, tracking down a Peach Melbourne, trying a new restaurant or enjoying a courtside cocktail, there is something for everyone.
"We're also giving fans more flexibility than ever, with new dine-in experiences, DoorDash delivery on Grand Slam Oval, expanded value offerings and convenient grab-and-go options throughout the precinct."
Breakfast will play a bigger role than ever at AO 2027, with fans encouraged to arrive early and make a day of it. From barista coffee at D.O.C on Grand Slam Oval, Hector's breakfast menu in Garden Square and YoPRO's protein-packed options, there will be plenty of ways to fuel up before the first ball is struck.
Garden Square returns as one of the tournament's premier dining hubs, acclaimed chef Shane Delia brings new concept Pastizzis by Vinu & Delia, featuring authentic Maltese street food created in collaboration with Vinu Muscat from Malta's renowned Sphinx Pastizzeria.
Garden Square will also welcome a host of highly anticipated AO debuts including Abla's, Smith + Daughters and Chapel Street hotspot The Frog Club, while Hector's expands into breakfast for the first time alongside the return of its cult AO-exclusive donuts and sandwiches.
Grand Slam Oval will feature returning favourites D.O.C, Stalactites and Season, alongside newcomers Kolkata Cricket Club, Tacoteca and an AO-exclusive bánh mì menu created by Khanh Ong. Fishbowl will celebrate its 10th anniversary with Thisbowl, bringing New York City energy to Melbourne Park.
The Western Courts continue their evolution as one of the site’s hidden dining hotspots, with former Vue de Monde chef Jayden Park bringing his Korean fried chicken concept Bandak Chicken to the AO for the first time. Nearby, Yamamoto Udon Izakaya will serve artisanal udon, including a playful shakeable version designed for fans on the move.
At Courtside Bar, the popular Grey Goose Lemon Ace cocktail returns and is available both freshly mixed and ready-to-drink alongside premium snack offerings, including a new premium menu offering set to rival the French cafes of Paris featuring Long Paddock Cheese.
Families visiting AO Ballpark presented by Emirates can enjoy a new vegetable-focused menu created by renowned cookbook author and vegetable queen Alice Zaslavsky, while Ray Capaldi's Superlupo brings Italian-inspired dishes to the home of family fun for the first time.
Australia’s hot chip obsession is heading courtside, with McCain becoming the Official Chip of the Australian Open – where hot chips are the tournament’s number one selling food. The Village will become the home of that obsession, giving fans their first taste of McCain’s newest chips alongside a signature serve created exclusively for the AO.
The AO Reserve hospitality line-up, announced earlier this year, features some of Australia's most celebrated chefs and hospitality brands alongside Michelin-starred international culinary icons Dominique Crenn and Simon Rogan.
