The men's draw is expected to once again be led by world No.1 Jannik Sinner and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, whose rivalry continues to captivate fans around the world. Their contrasting styles, relentless competitiveness and ability to elevate each other's game have helped define a new era in men's tennis.
Fresh off the biggest season of his career, Alexander Zverev is one of the leading contenders after capturing his maiden Grand Slam crowns in 2026, winning both Roland Garros and the US Open.
And then there is Novak Djokovic. A 10-time Australian Open champion whose name is synonymous with success at Melbourne Park. Few athletes have built a legacy as remarkable as Djokovic's and his return to AO 2027 will once again capture the attention of fans around the world.
American stars Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe have further cemented themselves among the game's most electrifying performers, while Australia's Alex de Minaur continues his pursuit of Grand Slam success in front of a passionate home crowd.
Few players generated more excitement than Brazil's Joao Fonseca, whose rapid rise has captured the imagination of tennis fans globally.
