The North American summer hard court season – which began in late July with the ATP event in Atlanta – was a fruitful time for several players, who have gathered momentum ahead of the year’s final Grand Slam tournament.
No player won more hard-court matches during this period than Paula Badosa.
No player earned more ranking points than Jessica Pegula, the only player to reach multiple finals during the swing – and at the 1000 events in Canada and Cincinnati, no less.

No player earned more top-10 wins than Alexei Popyrin, who beat three such opponents en route to his first Masters title in Montreal.
Will their sizzling form help them outperform defending US Open champions Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff? Or world No.1s Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek? Or the most recent major winners Carlos Alcaraz and Barbora Krejcikova, who triumphed at Wimbledon?
