Up and running: Djokovic v Chung

Alright, tennis fans. Let’s do this again, shall we?

While Dominic Thiem and Tennys Sandgren hit the business end of the third set, we’re going to focus in on the match kicking off on RLA between Novak Djokovic and Hyeon Chung. The pair have faced off just once before, at the 2016 Australian Open when the Serb won in straight sets.

A lot has changed since then. Hyeon Chung is two years older for one, and captured the NextGen ATP Finals title in Milan last November. He has played some excellent tennis this tournament, defeating world No.4 Alexander Zverev to set up this clash against his childhood idol.

The sun has just dipped down behind RLA, with a shadow stretched out across the court. There’s also a slight breeze keeping temperatures down - perfect conditions.

Let’s get to it.
