Top stars ready for Melbourne Summer Series

The Melbourne Summer Series commences on Sunday with WTA 500 action at Melbourne Park.

The two women's events are part of a series of five knock-out tournaments taking over the Australian Open precinct over the next week in a spectacular offering for tennis fans.

They will run alongside the star-studded ATP Cup, taking centre stage at Rod Laver Arena and John Cain Arena.

With the tournament draws released, we take a look at the biggest names in action, exciting potential match-ups, and the first-round clashes to watch out for.  

WTA Yarra Valley Classic

Aryna Sabalenka, who has won three straight tournaments, will look to extend her 15-match winning streak, while second seed Naomi Osaka is currently riding an 11-match win streak. Many eyes will be on reigning Roland Garros champion Iga Swiatek, who faces a possible French Open rematch with top seed Simona Halep in the quarters.
