In a battle of the top two seeds, Jake Delaney overcame Matthew Dellavedova in Sunday's final to claim the second of three Australian Pro Tour titles in Brisbane – earning a wildcard into AO 2027 qualifying in the process.
Delaney’s 7-5 6-3 win meant he completed a winning week with the loss of only one set and continued his excellent form on the World Tennis (formerly ITF) circuit.
It was his fourth title of the year, a week after he reached the final of the first Brisbane Pro Tour event.

With those two results in Brisbane, Delaney moved to equal first on the Australian Open 2027 qualifying wildcard leaderboard.
The Australian man and woman earning the most points across this series of three Brisbane Pro Tour events will secure their ticket to Melbourne Park.
Delaney drew level with Matt Hulme, the winner of the first Brisbane tournament but who retired in the semifinals of the second event, against Dellavedova, due to injury.
Hulme then withdrew from this week’s third and final Brisbane tournament, meaning Delaney earned the AO 2027 wildcard as the higher ranked of the two players, regardless of his performance this week.

It was a bittersweet end to Hulme's Brisbane campaign. He was on a 10-match winning streak after qualifying for the first Brisbane tournament and winning his first professional singles title, then reaching the semifinals of the second, before injury intervened.
Delaney, meanwhile, improves to 42-20 in 2026 and is expected to rise inside the world’s top 350 with his latest title.
The women’s tournament was once again won by Destanee Aiava, who has scooped back-to-back Brisbane titles without dropping a set.
With Aiava now representing New Zealand, the best-performed Australian was Sarah Mildren, the South Australian teenager who won four matches in a row to reach the quarterfinals as a qualifier.
She ultimately fell to Aiava, but kept herself in contention for an AO 2027 qualifying wildcard.
Belle Thompson, who fell in the second round of Brisbane 2, heads the leaderboard entering the third and final event at the Queensland Tennis Centre this week.
