The Australian Open has unveiled the line-up for its premium hospitality offering, AO Reserve at AO27, assembling an exceptional program of Australian and international talent set to redefine courtside dining.
Leading the line-up is Dominique Crenn, the French culinary powerhouse and first female chef in the United States to earn three Michelin stars, who will make her AO Reserve debut.
Best known for her acclaimed San Francisco restaurant, Atelier Crenn, she is celebrated for her boundary-pushing approach to fine dining and commitment to sustainability.
At Australian Open 2027, Crenn will headline the brand-new AO Reserve offering, Quarter by Bar Crenn - a contemporary social dining experience overlooking the buzzing Garden Square.
The multi-sensory salon-style space will serve refined small plates and elevated cocktails, inspired by the spirit of Bar Crenn.
Crenn will also headline AO Glasshouse during the finals at AO27, presenting an elevated three course dining experience centred on seasonality, artistry and contemporary French gastronomy.
“The Australian Open has this incredible rhythm to it, excitement, movement, anticipation. With Quarter by Bar Crenn and AO Glasshouse, we wanted to create spaces that feel connected to that energy, where guests can celebrate, connect and truly become part of the atmosphere of the Australian Open, while still discovering moments of beauty, pleasure and surprise,” Crenn said.
The Western Lounge will debut an exciting new offering, The Gallery by Daniela Maiorano, adding a vibrant new dimension to AO Reserve. The balcony bar setting overlooking fan favourite Grand Slam Oval will feature an energetic lounge atmosphere with canapés, elevated roving dining, premium beverages and live entertainment.
Fourth generation chef Daniela Maiorano will curate the convivial experience with an Italian-focussed menu. Born and raised in Abruzzo, Italy, Daniela’s cooking is deeply rooted in heritage, community, and seasonality. From her family’s historic Ristorante Clemente – one of the region’s oldest continuously operating restaurants – to her Byron Bay backyard, Daniela’s food blends Italian soul with Australian flair.
Stephen Nairn will also join the program in 2027, curating The Lounge and The Terrace, bringing contemporary sophistication to two of AO Reserve’s most sought-after private group spaces, complemented by in-seat service.
Originally from Glasgow, Nairn has worked at some of the world’s best restaurants including Eleven Madison Park in New York and Vue de Monde in Melbourne. He is now the culinary director of LK Hospitality, which encompasses acclaimed South Yarra venues Omnia and Yugen Dining.
Many of AO Reserve’s established stars are also returning in 2027, reflecting continued demand for their unique offerings with refreshed menus and inclusions.
AO Reserve’s On-Court presented by Piper Heidsieck, will again welcome Shimpei Raikuni from Brisbane’s renowned Sushi Room, delivering refined, contemporary Japanese dining in a private behind-the-scenes suite, just steps from the action on Rod Laver Arena.
Club 1905 will see the return of globally awarded British chef Simon Rogan, of three-Michelin-starred L’Enclume, whose produce-driven philosophy continues to earn global acclaim.

Champions Rooftop will again be led by Australian culinary icon, Executive Chef Peter Gilmore, of Quay and Bennelong fame. Celebrated for his nature-inspired cuisine and meticulous artistry, Gilmore remains one of the country’s most influential chefs.
Esteemed Brisbane restaurant, SK Steak & Oyster, returns for a second year to The Bistro at the heart of Garden Square, where the menu showcases exceptional steak and seafood in a refined yet relaxed setting.
Melbourne institution Caretaker’s Cottage will also return, upholding its reputation as one of the world’s leading cocktail bars in the signature speakeasy bar suite in Rod Laver Arena.
Riverside Social will return in its much-loved location overlooking the Yarra River, continuing to deliver a premium dining experience that celebrates the best of local flavours in a relaxed yet refined setting.
“We debuted AO Reserve in 2025 to elevate the Grand Slam experience beyond the court, and each year we’ve continued to push the boundaries of what premium event hospitality can be,” Tennis Australia’s Chief Commercial Officer Cedric Cornelis said.
“The 2027 line-up brings together some of the most influential chefs and hospitality brands in the world. From Michelin-starred trailblazers to beloved Australian icons, AO Reserve delivers global culinary excellence in one unforgettable setting.”
Tennis Australia’s Head of Product Growth and Innovation Fern Barrett said the 2027 program reflects the continued evolution of AO Reserve.
“The response to AO Reserve since its launch has been extraordinary, with demand growing year on year as fans look to elevate their Australian Open experience," she said.
“In 2027, we’re welcoming globally celebrated chefs like Dominique Crenn and Stephen Nairn alongside exciting Australian talent including Daniela Maiorano, creating a line-up that blends international prestige with the very best of our local dining scene.
“Each experience has been thoughtfully designed to offer something distinct, from immersive, chef-led concepts to vibrant social spaces, ensuring AO Reserve continues to set the benchmark for world-class event hospitality.”
