Iga Swiatek gets her first taste of Rod Laver Arena in the evening session for Australian Open 2024 on Saturday, with the women's world No.1 the headline act on Melbourne Park's show court on Day 7.

MORE: Day 7 schedule of play

Swiatek, who won her 18th consecutive match when she withstood an avalanche of winners from American Danielle Collins on Thursday, plays world No. 50 Linda Noskova of the Czech Republic to open the night session at RLA, with men's sixth seed Alexander Zverev meeting American Alex Michelsen in the following match.

Men's second seed Carlos Alcaraz faces Chinese wildcard Jerry Shang for the first time in what's sure to be an entertaining match-up at Rod Laver Arena in the afternoon, with RLA action opening with an all-Chinese clash between women's 12th seed Qinwen Zheng and Yafan Wang, who ended the Melbourne hopes of 2021 US Open winner Emma Raducanu in the second round.

Major winners Jelena Ostapenko and Victoria Azarenka lock horns at Margaret Court Arena during the day session, while men's third seed Daniil Medvedev, who battled over five sets and until after 3.30am to eliminate Emil Ruusuvuori in the second round, takes on 27th seed and AO 2022 quarterfinalist Felix Auger-Aliassime in the first match of the MCA night session.

The John Cain Arena schedule sees rising American Emma Navarro play dangerous Ukrainian wildcard Dayana Yastremska, while men's ninth seed Hubert Hurkacz meets 21st seed Ugo Humbert in the day session.

The final JCA match-up for Saturday (not before 5pm) pits men's 11th seed Casper Ruud against 19th seed Cameron Norrie, after the Norwegian and Brit both survived five-set marathons in the previous round.
