As the second round of men’s and women’s singles begins, an exciting day at Rod Laver Arena gets underway when No.1 seed and defending champion Aryna Sabalenka faces Spanish world No.54 Jessica Bouzas Maneiro.

They are followed by Portuguese qualifier Jaime Faria, who has the daunting task of facing 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic, before Coco Gauff and then Alexander Zverev headline the night session.

No.3 seed Carlos Alcaraz continues his Australian Open 2025 campaign over at Margaret Court Arena, before Casper Ruud kicks off the night session there against Czech Jakub Mensik.
