Noise levels are certain to be high as home favourite Alex de Minaur comes up against world No.41 Matteo Arnaldi in the second match of the afternoon session.

Later in the evening, Alexei Popyrin will take to the court to try to halt Djokovic’s bid for an 11th AO title.

Sixth seed Ons Jabeur gets things started at RLA against teenager Mirra Andreeva, who was runner-up in the girls’ final here last year.

In the first match of the evening session, Sabalenka will face another teenager - 16-year-old qualifier Brenda Fruhvirtova.
