The Australian Open and leading pharmacy retailer Chemist Warehouse have signed a partnership renewal agreement, extending the partnership for a further three years.

“We are delighted to have Chemist Warehouse on board as a valued Partner for another three years. With a shared focus on fitness, family and wellbeing, we are well aligned” said Cedric Cornelis, Tennis Australia’s Chief Commercial Officer.

“We know our tennis fans will be grateful to have a convenient pop-up Chemist Warehouse store on site during the AO to ensure they have everything they need for a fun-filled day at the tennis.”

Mario Tascone, Chemist Warehouse Director, said “At Chemist Warehouse we are excited to continue our partnership with the Australian Open for an additional three years. The Australian Open is the epitome of sportsmanship, spirit, family and wellbeing and perfectly aligns with our brand values and company ethos at Chemist Warehouse.

“Over the past three years, we have seen great success in our partnership, and we cannot wait to work together and continue this union over the next three years. Bring on a huge 2023 tournament!”

Chemist Warehouse will have a pop-up store on-site throughout the Australian Open when it kicks off the year’s global tennis calendar.

The store will open on Kids Tennis Day on Saturday 14 January and then every day for the duration of the tournament from 16 to 29 January with beauty, lifestyle and wellness products to meet all tennis fans’ summer needs.

In addition to browsing the aisles, fans can create shareable photo moments in store where they can capture themselves signing the match broadcast screen just like their favourite tennis stars, or get a make-up touch up with products from leading cosmetic brands.
