Great Britain’s highest-ranked woman, Katie Boulter, is coming off the best season of her career and is eager for more in 2024.
This year, Boulter reached WTA top 50 for the first time and picked up her maiden tour-level title at the Nottingham Open.
The 27-year-old has been on a steady upward trajectory since qualifying for Wimbledon back in 2017, and she claimed her first top-10 wins in 2022.
Boulter spoke to The AO Show podcast this week about the belief she has in herself to reach new milestones and start the year with a strong Australian summer of tennis.
“I’m really excited for next year, I’ve always got things to improve, but looking forward to getting out and competing and showing what I can do,” Boulter said.
“I’m working hard, working on my weaknesses and my strengths at the same time and I think I’m in the best place I could possibly be.”

British men’s No.1 Cam Norrie claimed Boulter strikes the ball as well as any of the top women in the world.
When this was relayed to her, Boulter admitted she was pleasantly surprised, but it was an opinion she trusted.
“I totally believe in it,” she responded. “I think this year has shown my level is there and I’m only going to get better.”
Ahead of Australian Open 2024, Boulter and Norrie will represent Great Britain at the United Cup in Perth, where they are grouped with host nation Australia and reigning champion United States.
With a great record playing for her country, Boulter is looking forward to starting her season in Perth at the unifying mixed-teams event.
“I feel like I’m a player that thrives in that situation,” she said.
“I think it brings a little more sparkle out of you, seeing your teammates on the sidelines and playing for them that is something I don’t have most of the year.”
The United Cup kicks off on 29 December and tickets are on sale now.
