Throughout the three-week extravaganza that is Australian Open 2025, there are days to celebrate all members of our tennis family.

Here’s what you can look forward to, beginning this weekend.

Kids Tennis Day

Saturday 11 January

On the eve of the main draw, excitement reaches fever pitch on Kids Tennis Day presented by Emirates, with thousands of young fans and their families enjoying tennis and entertainment across Melbourne Park. This could be the day that a future tennis star is inspired!

Evonne Goolagong Cawley Day

Wednesday 15 January

The world’s longest continuing living culture is proudly celebrated through First Nations music, dance, art and food on Evonne Goolagong Cawley Day. It’s named after the Australian tennis legend and First Nations ambassador who has inspired countless players — including former world No.1 Ash Barty.

Hot Shots Day

Thursday 16 January

Kids and families can enjoy fun and games throughout the day at Melbourne Park, where the AO Ballpark presented by Emirates serves as Hot Shots HQ — showcasing each stage of the Hot Shots Tennis program and where kids can practise skills, test serve speeds and compete in fun matches on mini courts.

All Abilities Day

Tuesday 21 Jan

Early in the final week of Australian Open 2025 it’s All Abilities Day — a showcase of the diverse ways people of all abilities can enjoy every aspect of tennis at the AO.

Women & Girls Day

Thursday 23 January

On this day we celebrate women and girls with a range of on-court activations! It’s also when the ninth edition of the AO Inspirational Series — showcasing women’s success and empowerment — is held. The special day concludes with the women’s singles semifinals under lights at Rod Laver Arena.

AO Pride

Friday 24 January

Pride Day returns to the AO in 2025! Get your rainbow colours ready and proudly celebrate your authentic self at an LGBTQ+ community day that will be bigger and brighter than ever this summer.
