The day session at RLA gets under way with an all-American clash between good friends Jessica Pegula and defending champion Madison Keys. After them, their compatriot Taylor Fritz, who ended Stan Wawrinka’s final appearance at Melbourne Park in an emotional match on Saturday, faces No.5 seed Lorenzo Musetti, who came through a five-set battle with Tomas Machac in the third round.
Italian fans at Margaret Court arena for the evening session will get a fourth-round treat as Luciano Darderi, who defeated Karen Khachanov in the third round for his deepest run at the AO, faces defending champion and countryman Jannik Sinner.
