Young tennis players from South America and Asia/Oceania will soon have the chance to secure wildcard entries into the Australian Open 2025 Junior Championships through two key events: the Australian Open Junior Series South America (Brazil) and the Dunlop Road to the AO Juniors (Japan).

Both tournaments offer international competitive opportunities for players in their respective regions, with the goal of raising the level of junior tennis in South America and Asia/Oceania.

The Australian Open Junior Series South America will take place first, from 14-19 October at the Rio Tennis Academy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This competition will feature 24 boys and 24 girls from across the South American region, all competing for the chance to secure a main draw junior wildcard.

Meanwhile, the Dunlop Road to the AO Juniors will be held from 11-15 November in Yokkaichi City, Japan. This event will see 16 boys and 16 girls from across Asia and Oceania also compete for junior wildcards.

Both events are part of Tennis Australia's ongoing efforts to grow the sport on a global scale, particularly in the South America and Asia/Oceania regions. They are designed to raise the standard of junior tennis by giving young athletes the chance to compete at an elite level, fostering junior talent across the globe.

The Australian Open 2025 Junior Championships will be held at Melbourne Park from 18-25 January 2025. It is one of the four Grand Slam junior events, which are among the most prestigious tournaments on the ITF Junior World Tennis Tour.
