Ralph Lauren will return for Australian Open 2023 as the tournament’s official outfitter for the third consecutive year.

Ralph Lauren will outfit up to 4,000 staff, including all on- and off-court officials.

It has designed for AO 2023 a new series of commemorative towels – set to launch Tuesday 29, November – and will unveil the official AO23 Capsule Collection, launching 6 January 2023.

Ralph Lauren’s ongoing commitment to sustainability means both the uniforms and towels have been created with a range of materials.

These include functional performance features such as moisture-wicking properties and UV protection, all constructed for active play.

Ballkid uniforms are made from recycled polyester and nylon, while umpires’ uniforms feature recycled double knit and jersey.

This commemorative collection features iconic Ralph Lauren styles in a bold colour palette, inspired by the tournament's fresh energy and playful spirit. The range includes polo shirts, jackets, headwear, and accessories, incorporating sustainable materials.

One such material is CLARUS, a patented textile platform innovation from Natural Fiber Welding, Inc. transforming virgin and recycled cotton to create enhanced cotton fibers with high-performance attributes.

It features a series of newly-designed motifs incorporating Polo icons, which fans can purchase and customise with their name or initials, via embroidery or printing.

Ralph Lauren will also celebrate fashion both on and off the court at AO23, dressing a number of VIP guests throughout the tournament.

The brand will celebrate the essence of Australia and its iconic ‘Happy Slam’ with styles incorporating bright, eye-catching colours plus key seasonal pieces capturing the classic Australian summer style.

AO Glam Slam

Ralph Lauren returns as the Presenting Partner of the AO Glam Slam for the second consecutive year.

This international community tennis event, sanctioned by the Gay Lesbian Tennis Alliance, will be held in Melbourne during the Australian Open to celebrate and promote the importance of equality with an array of exciting initiatives and activations.
