Excitement extends beyond the court at Australian Open 2025, with fun and games for fans of all ages across the tournament precinct.

In our latest of the AO Event Guide series, we spotlight three destinations at Melbourne Park you won't want to miss during your day, or night, at the tennis.

AO Ballpark

Young fans can become immersed in hours of exploration at AO Ballpark presented by Emirates, trying out totem tennis, Hot Shots Tennis and the Emirates Explorers & Little Travellers. There is also the AO Ballpark Stage, which features daily performances from the likes of Looney Tunes and Batman, and the Splash Zone, which includes two waterslides to cool down the kids.

The Village

Nestled between John Cain Arena and Kia Arena, fans can get an up-close view of the world’s top players as they practise and gear up for Grand Slam glory. With new shaded viewing platforms and an expanded selection of food and bar options, it’s the perfect spot to relax and catch all the action.

Courtside Bar

One of the most popular new spots on site to take in the tennis and grab a drink at AO 2024, the two-storey Courtside Bar returns for 2025. With increased capacity, enhanced tennis viewing, the Grey Goose Rooftop Bar and a delicious bar menu, it’s again set to be one of the hottest spots on site.

A quiet moment: Players practice on Melbourne Park's Western Courts in the week before the AO 2025 main-draw, where the Courtside Bar will offer fans an incredible tennis viewing experience. [Photo: Luis Enrique/TENNIS AUSTRALIA]
