Canadian Club renew AO partnership

The Australian Open and Canadian Club have announced a multi-year renewal of their partnership, with Canadian Club to continue as the Official Dark Spirit Partner of the Australian Open.

At Australian Open 2024, Canadian Club will celebrate 10 years of involvement in the tournament. During this time, more than one million Canadian Clubs have been sold at the event.

This January, Canadian Club will have its largest footprint on-site to date. There will be Canadian Club activations at key AO locations including Grand Slam Oval, AO Hilltop at Birrarung Marr, the Western Courts, Rod Laver Arena and John Cain Arena.

The Canadian Club Racquet Club at the AO Hilltop (CCRC) is open to the public and doesn’t require an AO ticket to watch all of the tennis action on its massive screens. At AO 2024, CCRC will include a Padel court, giving fans the chance to try the emerging sport that is sweeping the world.

On Grand Slam Oval, the brand will activate their increasingly popular Canadian Club Cabana Bar, which this year has had a festival-style makeover, complete with palm trees and photo moments.

The Australian Open is proud to continue its longstanding and successful partnership with Canadian Club into the future.

“Over the last ten years, the Australian Open’s partnership with Canadian Club has been such a success, we are delighted to continue it to AO 2026 and hopefully beyond,” Tennis Australia’s Chief Commercial Officer Cedric Cornelis said.

Canadian Club are looking forward to a bumper AO this year, and many years to come.

“As we toast Canadian Club's remarkable tenth year as a proud sponsor of the Australian Open, we reflect on a decade of shared excitement, passion, and memorable moments,” Beam Suntory Chief Marketing Officer Trent Chapman said.

“We're thrilled to commemorate our tenth year of partnership with our largest-ever activation, aiming to elevate the fan experience to new heights.”
