The UK start-up is one of seven companies selected to be part of the 2023 AO StartUps mid-year portfolio.

At selected 2023-24 events in the leadup to the AO, TA’s events team will pilot Raven’s incident and event operations management software to drive continuous improvement in the management of critical incidents.

“Raven Controls are delighted to have been selected to work with AO StartUps,” Raven Controls CEO Ian Kerr said.

“From our first conversations, I loved how AO StartUps sought to challenge the status quo and innovate within the industry.

“We are excited to work with the team to continue to drive our digital technology to new levels and showcase Raven Controls on the world stage.”

The technology has successfully been deployed at major sporting events including UEFA Champions League and the Ryder Cup.

Raven combine best practice with the best technical expertise and harness technology to optimise event operational efficiencies, coordination and communication.

AO StartUps is led by Tennis Australia’s Innovation team and follows the launch of Tennis Australia’s Venture Capital fund (Wildcard Ventures) and its multi-year partnership with global accelerator powerhouse, Techstars.
