All schedules are produced by the scheduling committee, comprising the referee, tournament director, representatives from the Grand Slams, ATP Tour, WTA Tour and both local and international TV executives.
The aim is to produce a balanced schedule that is fair to all the players, patrons, as well as what the TV audience at home would like to watch. Schedules are provisional and the referee and tournament director may change matches at their discretion. Pre-tournament the schedule is announced on the Thursday before the event commences. During the tournament, the following day's schedule is released late afternoon of the day prior.
The AO schedule/format is provisional and subject to change without notice due to adverse weather conditions or other reasons. TA reserves the right to cancel, withdraw, postpone, relocate or reschedule players and or matches when necessary to protect the interests of players, customers the AO and/or TA.
