Kia is once again thrilled to be the Major Sponsor of the iconic Asia-Pacific Tennis Grand Slam, the Australian Open. While playing a key role in supporting the players and promoting the growth of tennis, Kia will be active during the Australian Open at numerous on-site and off-site locations.

Kia prides itself in providing premium event transportation services. For Australian Open 2019, 120 of Kia’s latest vehicles will be supplied to ensure safe and convenient transportation of the world’s top tennis players, VIPs, officials and media throughout the event.

Kia vehicles are also on display at Melbourne Park for the duration of the event, showcasing their cutting edge technology and state-of-the-art styling to thousands of fans.

The opportunity to provide fun and interactive activities for the fans in and around Melbourne Park has been a rewarding experience. The AO Ball Kids International Program presented by Kia sends lucky youths from South Korea and India to serve as official ball kids during the tournament. Meanwhile, several hospitality programs, including Kia Lucky Drive to Australia, help bring fans together and provide an unforgettable experience in Melbourne.

AO Selfie Competition 2019

The AO Selfie Competition sponsored by Kia begins at 10am on 4 January (AEST) and closes at 7pm on 26 January 2019 (AEST).

Eligible entrants who submit a photo or gif image of themselves, upload it to their public Instagram, and/or Twitter, and/or Facebook account together with the hashtag #kiatennis and #AOselfie will be entered into the competition. Daily winners will receive a Babolat tennis racquet signed by Rafael Nadal.
