Kia is once again thrilled to be the Major Partner of the iconic Asia-Pacific Tennis Grand Slam, the Australian Open. While playing a key role in supporting the players and promoting the growth of tennis, Kia will be active during the Australian Open at numerous on-site and off-site locations.

Kia prides itself in providing premium event transportation services. For Australian Open 2020, 120 of Kia’s latest vehicles will be supplied to ensure safe and convenient transportation of the world’s top tennis players, VIPs, officials and media throughout the event.

Kia vehicles are also on display at Melbourne Park for the duration of the event, showcasing their cutting edge technology and state-of-the-art styling to thousands of fans.

For Australian Open 2020, Kia will serve as the Official Partner of the Australian Open Ball Kids Program.

Kia runs the AO Ball Kids International Program, sending children from South Korea since 2004 and from India since 2018 to serve as official ball kids during the tournament. 

Starting with the Australian Open 2020, selected official ball kids will be wearing Kia branded uniforms in front of thousands of Australian Open fans.

The AO Selfie Competition sponsored by Kia begins at 10am on 20 January (AEST) 2020 and closes at 7pm on 2nd February 2020 (AEST).

Eligible entrants who upload a photo or gif image of themselves with an expression of FELIZ, VAMOS or AMOR to their public Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook account together with the hashtags #KiaTennis and #AOselfie will be entered into the competition to win exciting prizes.

Meanwhile, fans who visit any of Kia’s five activation spots in and around Melbourne Park (Kia Junior Drive, AO Selfie, Seltos Studio, AO Ball Drive and more) during the tournament will be given a Kia picnic mat especially designed for Australian Open 2020 (limited quantities available).
